Paddypedia

Posted on January 19th, 2007 in On My Mind by Patrick

Working with computers can involve a lot of domain-specific information that feels like second-nature while you're involved with a particular technology but rapidly evaporates from memory once you move on to something else. Paddypedia is my collection of technical references, shortcuts, tips, how-tos, etc.. that I've found useful in my travels. Some of it is written by me, a lot of it was cut-n-pasted verbatim into text files when my paddypedia consisted of a folder on my laptop. Where possible I've tried to indicate original sources.

Treatment of topics is not intended to be even remotely comprehensive, these are just snippets that have used in the past and will probably continue to use in the future. For that reason this site will probably only be useful to me, but if you happen to stumble across it via Google and find it useful let me know.

You might want to start by browsing the Categories.
